The March Third Thursday event is fast approaching – Thursday, March 21st. This month’s recipient is Heartland Therapeutic Riding.
Heartland Therapeutic Riding provides equine-assisted therapy through the movement of and human interaction with the horse. Early intervention hippotherapy is provided for special needs children by a physical or an occupational therapist. Therapeutic sports riding is available for children and adults with disabilities. It is taught by Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International–certified instructors.
“3RD THURSDAY IN MARTIN CITY” – GENERAL INFORMATION
The goal of “3rd Thursdays in Martin City” is to support local community organizations by donating a percentage of sales from Martin City businesses during a select period of time, on the third Thursday of each month. 10% from sales generated between 5:00 and 9:00 pm at participating Martin City businesses will be donated to a different organization each month.
